Product Benefits
Life-Saving Emergency Response: Primarily used in emergency settings to treat life-threatening conditions like anaphylactic shock, severe asthma attacks (status asthmaticus), and acute adrenal crisis.
Rapid Anti-Inflammatory Action: Quickly suppresses the production of inflammatory chemicals (prostaglandins) to reduce swelling, redness, and pain in various parts of the body.
Immune System Modulation: Effectively calms overactive immune responses in autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and severe rheumatoid arthritis.
Hormone Replacement Therapy: Acts as an essential replacement for cortisol in patients with primary or secondary adrenocortical insufficiency (Addison's disease).
Versatile Delivery: Can be administered via Intramuscular (IM) injection, slow Intravenous (IV) injection, or IV infusion, allowing healthcare providers to choose the best route for the patient's urgency.
Treats Severe Skin & Eye Conditions: Provides intensive relief for incapacitating dermatologic diseases (like pemphigus or severe psoriasis) and inflammatory eye disorders (like optic neuritis).
Gastrointestinal & Respiratory Support: Helps manage "flares" of inflammatory bowel diseases (Ulcerative Colitis) and fulminating pulmonary tuberculosis when used alongside proper antibiotics.
Hematologic & Neoplastic Support: Used in the palliative management of certain leukemias and lymphomas, and treats acquired autoimmune hemolytic anemia.
